In 2011 a group of eight Ward 19 neighbors responded to a City need for local guidance on pending upgrades to Fred Hamilton Playground. One year later, this group has evolved into the Friends of Roxton Road Parks (FoRRP), comprising a Steering Committee and five active Sub-committees overseeing the revitalization of three adjacent parks on Roxton Road:
Together with our partners at Toronto City Hall, the Friends of Roxton Road Parks are developing a community-based vision for the revitalization of our parks into vibrant hubs of local social, recreational, and creative activity.
More information on the parks and the revitalization process can be found on this website’s pages and in blog posts to date. All neighbors and interested parties are welcome to join the Friends group and/or one of the Sub-committees in order to participate in the visioning and revitalization process.
Here is a list of our partners.

About the identity
The new Friends of Roxton Road Parks logo is a stylized version of the three parks in plan. George Ben Park is the medium-sized rectangle to the left, Fred Hamilton the large shape to the right, and the Roxton Road Parkette is the small rectangle at the bottom.
