Community Cleanup Day on April 28th!

Hi Friends and Neighbours,

We are participating once again in the City’s Clean Toronto Together, initiative, focussing our efforts on Sunday April 28 from 10 a.m. to noon to clean up our nearby parks: George Ben, Roxton Road, and Fred Hamilton Park.  With the help of the College Promenade BIA and you, we hope to extend our reach up to our favourite strip of College Street, running west from Shaw.
We will award a prize for the most unusual object found, and this year introduce a couple new prize categories, so grab your gloves plus any rakes, grabbing tools, or shovels that you might need.

Meet up in Fred’s, in the brick building in Fred Hamilton Park, 155 Roxton Road.  Before you head off with a city supplied garbage or recycling bag, we’ll have a pot of Roxton Roast coffee brewed just for you, and complimentary refreshments for all volunteers from local vendors courtesy of the BIA.   If you can’t make if for precisely 10 am, just come as soon as you can!
