Join Toast Tuesday this Feb 27 with special guest

A few people in our neighbourhood have expressed interest in having a weekly delivery of farm fresh veggies, fruit, eggs and meat, often referred to as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Come out to Fred’s this coming Tuesday Feb 27th and hear more about this idea directly from Alana of ClearWater Farms.

ClearWater Farms and Friends of Roxton Road Parks would be a wonderfully compatible partnership given our WaterHarvest project in Fred Hamilton Park and their priority to harvest water, use it sustainably in their farming, and preserve water for future generations. Alana will tell us how their weekly food basket program works, and how Fred’s can be used as our local depot where you can pick up your farm fresh products.

Where: Fred’s in Fred Hamilton Park
When: 10 to noon, 10:30 am for Alana’s presentation, with lots of time for questions.
We’ll be serving toast with honey and jam, as well as our custom Roxton Roast coffee throughout the morning.
ClearWater Farms is based in Georgina Township on Lake Simcoe.  All farms products are grown or raised using chemical-free organic methods. They are a not-for-profit farm with a mission to (re)connect people to their land & water.  They treasure water and use it wisely.
