A busy May and more to come.

 April was busy with Community Clean-Up Day and Environment Day, but May is shaping up to be the busiest month yet!


Meagan’s Circle of Hope in George Ben Park on May 13. Students and teachers from St. Luke Catholic School celebrated the 1 year birthday of their 5 adopted trees in George Ben Park with a Circle of Life.



Swapping clothes on a sunny Sunday May 17th!  Approximately 150 people enjoyed exchanging clothing with 20 full garbage bags of surplus clothes donated to charity at the end of the day. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped. Enjoy the new threads!


Victoria Day brought out a group of neighbours to clean up the Bocci Courts in Fred Hamilton Park.Check out this cool video!    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-sygY9LYrg  And they did a super job on the courts.

Did you miss out on these two events?   Don’t despair!  Coming up this Saturday May 23 is your chance to burn off some energy and do something great for your park! Come out and help your neighbours de-pave the lower portion / playground area of Fred from 10:00 am to noon – or as long as the fun lasts.
