Homegrown Park Crawl on October 5th

The David Suzuki Foundation Homegrown Park Crawl takes place on Sunday October 5th.

There is a stop at Fred Hamilton park again this year and a table will be set up. In the park we’ll have bee activities, honey tasting, stilt walking drummers and the samba squad. Activities will take place between 1pm and 2pm.

This year’s Homegrown Park Crawl will include even more great food, adventurous musical acts and eco-activities in celebration of the second year of the Homegrown National Park Project.

And you’ll even have a chance to parade alongside David Suzuki!

The Homegrown Park Crawl event will once again be free to the public, with food tickets available for $5 each.

  1. Just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to meet David Suzuki at the Roxton Rd Parkette during the park crawl. It was a nice surprise and I had no idea he was involved so locally. Sad to hear this may be his last tour. If the world had more people like him (i can hear a Suzuki quote)we wouldn’t have to worry about the environment so much.
